For the new model year, The main change for the Colorado lineup is the new Trail Boss package available on the LT and Z71 trim levels. has made some big changes to the Silverado. The newly offered Trail Boss package includes lifted suspension, skid plates, 17-inch custom wheels, and red tow hooks. This factory-installed package adds $2,900 to $3,000 to the price approximately.
Additional Features
The Chevy Colorado features several innovative driver-assist features. A forward-collision warning system and lane-departure warning system are available for the 2022 model year. Rear parking sensors and a rear-vision camera are available as well. In addition, Chevrolet’s Teen Driver package is available with your new Colorado. This feature allows you to set a speed alert, volume limit, and an in-vehicle report card to help coach your teen driver even if you aren’t with them.
Infotainment and Technology
The 2022 Colorado WT trim level comes standard with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment center, while the LT trim and up feature an 8-inch touchscreen. Both systems include Bluetooth connectivity for up to two devices, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto capability. Chevrolet also offers Onstar connectivity and a subscription-based WiFi hotspot. Chevrolet’s Connected Services also is available and allows owners to access some of the functions of their vehicle from their mobile devices.
