A First Look at the 2023 Chevy Camaro

All but one of the eight 2023 Chevy Camaro trims are available in both coupe and convertible styles. Every model embodies the iconic power and beauty of this highly desirable brand. Read on to get a close-up view of the latest remarkable Camaro line-up! 

Standard Exterior Features

The entry-level 1LS trim, in coupe only, comes with 18-inch aluminum wheels, power-adjustable body-color outside mirrors, keyless entry and start, and a theft deterrent system. The 1LT, 2LT, and 3LT coupes and convertibles upgrade the LS’ 6-speed manual transmission to the 10-speed automatic type, as do the ISS, 2SS, LT1, and ZL1 models. You get standard 20-inch aluminum wheels with the ISS, 2SS, LT1, and ZL1 trims.

All Chevy 2023 Camaro trims are 2-door, 4-seat designs, and all are available in a choice of nine exterior paint colors. These hues include different shades and intensities of grays, reds, and blues, plus white and black, to allow your preference and personality to shine through.

Engine Highlights

The 1LS, 1LT, 2LT, and 3LT, Camaros have a 2-liter, 4-cylinder, 275-horsepower engine, while the ISS, 2SS, and LT1 feature a 6.2-liter, 8-cylinder, 455-horsepower version. The ZL1 ups the horsepower to 650 in its 6.2-liter, 8-cylinder engine.

Fuel economy for combined city and highway driving varies from 25 miles per gallon (MPG) for the 1LS, 1LT, 2LT, and 3LT,  to 20 mpg for the 1SS, 2SS, and LT1. The estimated mpg for the powerful ZL1 Camaro is 16.

Standard Interior Features

All 2023 Camaro trims except two offer a choice of either Ebony or Medium Ash Gray interiors. The 2LT adds Ceramic White and Adrenaline Red, while the ZL1 interior comes in Jet Black only.

Front bucket seats, an electric rear-window defogger, a lockable glove box, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob are standard Camaro features. Standard safety details include Tire Fill Alert, child seat LATCH fasteners, and the Teen Driver system.

2023 Chevy Camaro Options

Heated and ventilated driver and front passenger seats are an available add-on for the 2LT and 3LT models. You can opt for a heated steering wheel in the 3LT, 2SS, and ZL1 trims. If you’re looking for safety suite add-ons, the 3LT trim level allows you to opt for lane change and side blind zone alerts as well as rear cross-traffic warnings.

Optional dark-tint tail lights and a rear spoiler are cool choices for the 1SS, 2SS, and ZL1 Camaros. For some super unique flair, consider adding the 24-color spectrum interior lighting to your ZL1. For infotainment upgrades, the 3LT, 2SS, and ZL1 trims let you replace the standard 6-speaker sound with a premium Bose 9-speaker audio system.
