• Conventional Oil
  • Conventional oil is the cheapest and most affordable oil available. Our trained service technicians use ACDelco Gold Conventional Oil, which provides quality engine protection from corrosion and wear. These also include certain additives that support a smooth-running engine.
• Synthetic Oil
  • Though conventional oils offer satisfactory protection and lubrication for your vehicle’s engine, synthetic oils outperform and offer superior defense. These lubricants are more expensive, but they last longer and have high oxidation resistance to keep the oil from breaking down while also fighting harmful deposits and sludge buildup. We offer ACDelco dexos1 Full Synthetic Oil and Mobil 1 Full Synthetic Oil, with both providing low-temperature flow and pumpability.

How to Schedule an Appointment

Now that you know the difference between conventional and synthetic motor oil, it’s time to book your service appointment! Is this your first time visiting the Crain Chevrolet service team? Great! We can’t wait to meet you! Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to get started on our website:

1. Click here to begin scheduling a service appointment!
2. Select the “MAKE · YEAR · MODEL” button below the scheduler.
3. Choose your vehicle’s make and year.
4. Type out your car’s miles (or a rough estimate).
5. Click “Change engine oil and Filter.”
   • You can type in the search bar if this does not initially appear. 
6. The form will ask if you need a ride while your car is in the shop. 
   • You can request a shuttle to take you within a 20-mile radius.
   • If you choose to wait at the dealership, we offer amenities including:

7. If you want to work with a specific advisor, select their name on the Appointment Calendar and select the day and time of your appointment. 
8. Select Review.
9. Enter your contact information and add additional comments if necessary. 
10. Once you’ve reviewed your appointment details, click the schedule button.
